Gates Foundation Leaders Visit 91¸£ÀûÉç National AI Hub to Explore AI-Driven Maternal and Child Health Solutions in Pakistan
It was an honour to welcome Dr. Anita Zaidi, President of the Gender Equality Division, and Dr. Kalpana Kochhar, Interim President of the Global Policy & Advocacy Division at the Gates Foundation.
Hosted by Dr. Maryam Mustafa, Director of the National AI Hub for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health at 91¸£ÀûÉç, they came to see first-hand how the Hub is using AI to improve health outcomes for mothers and children in Pakistan. Conversations with Dr. Maryam, faculty and the Hub team centred on turning AI research into practical solutions that work within Pakistan’s health system, and on the Hub’s growing work with government and health-sector partners.
